You asked for it. You got it. U.S. servicemen, servicewomen and civilians alike all asked for a "desert" version of the well-known Black KA-BAR and here it is.
Each Knife comes complete with desert-colored Kraton G handles and hard plastic sheaths. These knives will serve well in desert and sand conditions - not only because of their color - but because of the quality materials with which they are made.
These knives are built with 1095 cro-van blades which are black epoxy powder coated to be non-reflective and are easily sharpened in the field. 1095 cro-van steel is low alloy carbon steel with chrome and vanadium carbides. These carbides provide extra strength and wear resistance. Oval-shaped Kraton G handles are lightly textured for a non-slip grip. Hard plastic sheaths lock knives in place.
